Dear friends,
It is with great joy that I share all that God has been doing in my life over the past few months.
Many things have happened since the last update I shared here. In April, I had the great joy of celebrating another year of life together with friends and family. It was a special day, marked by joy, gratitude, and fellowship as I gathered with such dear people.

I am grateful to God for the great privilege of receiving my Mechanical Engineer license. This registration enables me to carry out activities related to engineering in Brazil, and it also represents a milestone of recognition, responsibility, and new opportunities.
At the end of May, I began my summer classes in the aircraft maintenance program. It was a challenging time, but by God’s grace, I was able to pass. One of the courses I took was “College English,” in which I faced greater difficulties, since I had never taken a class entirely in English, let alone written essays of 6 to 8 pages on complex topics in that language. Even so, God was with me throughout the process, helping me to persevere and to learn.
Thanksgiving:
I am deeply grateful to God for granting me another year of life.
I am thankful to MAF and to God for everything He has provided through this organization.
I am grateful for completing my summer classes and passing all the subjects.
For the Lord’s care for me and my family.
I am thankful for all the friends and families who have supported me in this new season.
I am grateful for the team working on my process to go to Ecuador.
Prayer Requests:
That missionary aviation may continue to reach more lives and share the Good News of God.
For the process of going to Ecuador, that everything may happen according to God’s will. For wisdom and discernment, now that I am living on my own.
That God may grant my family and me capacity, understanding, and strength during this training period.
For clarity and insight as I begin a new semester in the Aircraft Maintenance program.

Isaiah 40:3
But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

During this summer break, I also had the opportunity to host a close friend at my home and to visit other friends who, like me, are Missionary Kids (MKs) living in different states of Brazil. Most of them have lived abroad and share a cross-cultural background similar to mine.

At the end of June, we welcomed our friend Vitor Barbosa into our home. He is a Brazilian MK, but as a child he moved with his family to Guinea-Bissau. In 2021, he returned to Brazil to study at Palavra da Vida Seminary and recently spent a month in Anápolis to complete his internship. It was a very special time with him at home, filled with laughter, good conversations, and fellowship.
During these visits, I was also able to reconnect with friends who live in the states of Minas Gerais and São Paulo. In Minas, I had the joy of seeing the group in the middle photo—several MKs who have lived in different parts of the world. I also had the joy of meeting my friend Haniel, which made this time even more special. I was able to get to know a bit of the city, visit Igreja Batista Nova Vida, and had the privilege of meeting many people who welcomed my brother and me with great warmth, as if we were part of their family. And in São Paulo, I was able to see my friend Esther, who is also an MK, experience a little of Korean culture, and visit Igreja Plena Luz Itapevi, where her parents serve in pastoral ministry.

Not long after, for the first time, I had to say goodbye to my family. After 22 years of living together, the moment came to say my first farewell. I am very grateful for all this time by their side, and I must admit I felt a mix of longing and deep emotion. At the same time, I trust that God has been guiding each of my steps, strengthening me for this new stage, and reminding me that, even at a distance, the bond and love of family remain. Currently, they are in South Africa, receiving training with MAF, along with two other Latin families.
